LIVE STREAMING

 

WHAT IS LIVE STREAMING?

Live streaming is a live event that is broadcast through the internet. The Kabbalah Centre provides live streaming for students who do not live near a Centre, or who are unable to attend an event.

 

Events are typically streamed live from from Los Angeles, New York, and other locations around the world - providing students with the opportunity to connect with Karen, Michael, and Yehuda Berg as well as Senior Kabbalah Instructors.

 

WHERE IS THE AGENDA FOR A LIVE EVENT?

The agenda of each event will be displayed under the player of the event page. Due to the nature of live events, schedule changes may occur. 

 

HOW CAN I VIEW THE LECTURE RECORDINGS FROM A LIVE STREAMED EVENT?

Recorded lectures will be available for viewing once they are edited and formatted which may take between 2-4 weeks. 

UKABBALAH Premium and Premium Plus Members will have access to the recordings as part of their membership. For details on how to become a member, visit www.ukabbalah.com

 

I'M HAVING TROUBLE VIEWING THE LIVE STREAM

Please note that it takes between 7-10 seconds before your streaming begins to play. If you are still unable to view after 10 seconds, try viewing video on a different site. Keep in mind that if you are viewing at work, some employers block streaming. If you are able to view videos on other sites, please contact us

 

COMMON TECHNICAL ISSUES: 

Please review our recommended settings here.

 

  • Streaming is best with a high speed internet connection. For a smooth viewing experience, the ideal speed is above 1MB.
  • Test your internet speed: http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/.
  • Wireless Connections: If you are on a wireless connection and experiencing buffering, try connecting your computer directly to the internet with a cable.
  • Computer: Make sure you are not using other browsers, software or apps. This could consume your computer’s memory and negatively impact your viewing experience.
  • Audio: Check that the volume settings on your device and in your browser are not too low or muted. If this does not solve your problem, ensure that you have the latest version of “Adobe Flash Player” on Mac or PC.
  • Video: Ensure that you have the latest version of “Adobe Flash Player”  installed in your browser if on a PC or Mac. The player can be downloaded for free from Adobe directly

If you are unable to see the player and are on a Mac or PC, check that Adobe Flash player is installed and updated. Test your Mac or PC to make sure Adobe Flash Player installed: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html

ORDERING & VIEWING CONTENT

 

 CAN I PREVIEW LESSONS BEFORE I BUY?

Yes. Simply click on the title of a lesson in which you are interested. Press the play button in the middle of the lesson image located above the lesson list, and a sample video from that class will play for you.

 

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE EVERY LESSON IN A COURSE?

You can purchase one lesson at a time from any course, even if a course consists of a series of lessons. This way you can watch and learn one lesson at a time before committing to learning a whole course. All your purchased content will be available from the “My Courses/Lessons” link on your Account page.

 

WHERE CAN I FIND MY E-BOOK?

If you purchased a bundle that includes an e-book, you can find it by clicking on MY COURSES on the top right of the site. Please note that an e-book reader is required to view and read the file. You can see the list of the supported devices or download a free e-book reader here.

 

HOW DO I UPDATE, ADD OR DELTE LESSONS BEFORE I COMPLETE AN ORDER?

First, log in to learn.kabbalah. For every lesson you want to purchase, select the “Buy Now” button to the right of the lesson title and that lesson will be added to your shopping cart. Once you have added all the lessons you intend to order, review your order by clicking on your “Shopping Cart” link at the top right corner of any page. You can update quantities or remove titles from your shopping cart as needed. Once you are satisfied with the items in your shopping cart, select the “checkout” button to proceed with your payment information and complete your order.

 

HOW DO I CHECK ON MY ORDER HISTORY & STATUS?

While signed in to LEARN, click on the ACCOUNT at the top right of the page and select MY ORDERS. You will be able to view the dates and details of the products you purchased.

 

HOW DO I ACCESS LESSONS I PURCHASED?

While logged in to LEARN, click on MY COURSES at the top right of the page. From the list of lessons you have purchased, click on the title you wish to watch in order to access its content.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Typically, orders for electronic materials cannot be cancelled, as the materials are immediately accessible upon order completion. Please contact us to discuss your particular circumstances.

 

I MISTAKENLY PURCHASED THE SAME ITEM TWICE. CAN I GET A REFUND FOR THE DUPLICATE ORDER?

Please carefully review your shopping cart, including the quantity of each lesson selected, before you complete your purchase. Please contact us if you have any issues.

 

CAN I USE LEARN ON MY APPLE OR DROID MOBILE DEVICE?

You can view all content on learn on Apple devices. Droid devices must be set to "Desktop Mode". Streaming may not be viewable on all Droid devices. Please consult your device manual or manufacturer's website for instructions on setting it to Desktop Mode.

 

WHY DOESN'T THE PRICE SHOWN FOR EACH LESSON ADD UP TO THE COURSE PRICE?

Many courses offer a discount for purchasing the whole course over buying individual lessons.  The discount is applied to the total of all the lessons but when you divide the discount by the number of lessons sometimes rounding the amounts can throw off the sum by several cents.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

 

WHY CAN'T I LOG IN?

In order to login to LEARN, you must create an account.

 

Kabbalah University Students: For Kabbalah University students, LEARN is a separate website that requires a new username and password. Follow the steps below to create your account.

If you need to create an acccount, go to the LEARN homepage and click LOGIN on the top right hand side. This will bring you to the USER ACCOUNT page where you can CREATE AN ACCOUNT by filling out the form on the right side of the page.

 

FORGOT MY USERNAME

You can log in to your account with the email address with which you registered. Once you are logged in, go to ACCOUNT where you can view your username and edit all your account information. If you do not remember the email address you used to register, please contact us for further assistance.

 

FORGOT MY PASSWORD

If you have forgotten your password go to the user ACCOUNT page by clicking LOGIN at the top right. On the ACCOUNT page click on the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD link underneath the login button. Enter your username and click EMAIL NEW PASSWORD. An email will be sent to you with instructions on how to retrieve your password.

 

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

Log into your account, once you are logged in, go to ACCOUNT to view and edit all your account information. Besides the ACCOUNT INFORMATION heading, click on EDIT. You may now enter your new password into the PASSWORD and CONFIRM PASSWORD fields. Click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page to save your changes. Remember, passwords are case sensitive.

 

HOW DO I UPDATE MY PROFILE INFORMATION?

While signed in to LEARN, click on ACCOUNT at the top right of the page. From this page you can edit any of your account information, such as your name, your address, language settings and payment information. Be sure to click SAVE at the bottom of the page when you have finished editing your information.

 

HOW CAN I UPDATE MY PAYMENT INFORMATION

While signed in to LEARN, click on ACCOUNT at the top right of the page. Select the MANAGE CREDIT CARDS on the left, and enter your new credit card information in all the required fields. Be sure to click SAVE NEW CARD at the bottom of the page when you have finished editing your information.

 

Please note: At this time, we accept payment by Visa, Mastercard or American Express only.

 

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?

If you would like to deactivate and cancel your account all together, please contact us by emailing care@kabbalah.com.

 COURSES & LESSONS

 

 WHAT LANGUAGES ARE AVAILABLE?

Live streaming events have lectures in English with prayers and meditations in hebrew. No subtitles are available for live streaming events.

 

Recorded audio and video courses are available in English, Spanish, German and Italian. Some recorded courses have subtitles.

 

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD HANDOUTS FOR LESSONS?

When a lesson utilizes worksheets or handouts, they can be downloaded as PDF files. You will find them under ‘Lesson Resources’. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on our computer in order to open the file. Mac users can also use the Preview application.
